According to the company, the new display features an ultra-sleek design and integrates A-Grade panel components with advanced circuitry and triple-speed 25ms response time-all designed to offer viewers vivid, high-definition, photo realistic images. The FP2081 is aimed at CAD/CAM and Graphic Art/Design professionals who demand high resolution, high contrast imagery without the bulk and weight of a traditional CRT monitor.

The FP2081 sports a large 20.8-inch viewable screen and features multiple video inputs for users to hook up high-definition DVI sources, DVD players, VCRs, network boxes, tuner boxes or other components for presentations (analog, DVI, S-video and composite). In addition, the FP2081 has an elegant new black industrial design, improved pixel-pitch and offers 160 viewing angles (both horizontal and vertical).

The LCD will feature BenQ’s iKey technology that automatically calibrates an input signal and adjusts the monitor for an optimum image. BenQ says that iKey accomplishes this by intuitively adjusting display resolution, scanning frequency, H-position, V-position, and color temperature whenever the display mode is changed.
