Peachtree Software announced the availability of Peachtree Domain Name Registration powered by Register.com. According to the companies, the addition of Domain Name Registration to Peachtree’s line of Web services should provide small businesses with a single location in which to find all the tools necessary to create a full-featured Web presence that integrates with their desktop accounting software.

Small businesses can use the Peachtree Domain Name Registration service to register and administer their domain names. The service offers many of the Top Level Domains, including the new .biz, and is available to any business that would like to secure a domain name. In addition, small businesses can use their newly registered domain name with Peachtree WebsiteCreator Pro, a Web site creation and management tool, to design a 2,000 item online catalog. To create catalogs, users may upload inventory from their Peachtree 2002 desktop accounting software or manually entering the items.

By adding Peachtree WebsiteTrader, an e-commerce tool, small businesses may be able to take advantage of the additional revenue generated from Web sales and expand their reach to potential customers. Peachtree WebsiteTrader works with Peachtree WebsiteCreator Pro to allow orders to be placed securely from the Web site and then downloaded directly into Peachtree 2002 desktop accounting software as new sales orders. And new customers can be added to Peachtree from Web orders.

Pricing
The cost to subscribe to Peachtree WebsiteCreator Pro is $19.99 per month. Subscribers to Peachtree WebsiteCreator Pro can add Peachtree WebsiteTrader for an additional $20 per month. For more information on Peachtree’s Web services, visit www.peachtree.com/websitetools .
